My father recently died and among the items that my family has discovered is an old Int'l Harvester
hand fed hay baler. It has a "3 to 5 H.P. Type-LB-Engine" and the serial number "LBB 50821" - the last digit in the serial number is stamped into the metal plate.

If anyone can help me get more info on this piece of equipment I would appreciate it.

My references say that the No. 15 baler first was sold in 1940. Looks like one lucky dude was on top with a fork and another poor soul had his face in the dust doing the tying.. Two fair sized flywheels over the foretruck and a packer bobbing up and down over the chamber? Wire-tie?

Sammy, I don't have a pic right now but its a good idea. Next time I'm at the farm (I live 2 hours away) I'll take one.
