Well, I finally got some time to work on it. But more importantly, I got my wife's uncle interested in the project. He's the one with all the tools and tricks. Fabricated a pto spindle bracket out of plate steel. Got a replacement tire for the mixer drum off a scrap pile at the local tire store...free! (yes, I got permission first). The frame brackets were too short for my tractor so Uncle Sharron (yes that's really his name) welded extensions and we re-drilled the mounting holes. It's mounted up, it spins, and it dumps as advertised. I'm happy. Could still use some tweaking to make the installation less of a pain but for now I'm happy....except that now I gotta take the whole contraption off so I can cut and bale hay in the next couple of weeks. Thanks to any of you who helped with suggestions and tips. Hope you had a good holiday. Say thanks to a Vet this week.
