Sorghum Plates for a Ford 309 Planter

I can get the plates from my NH dealer....but they're only about $100...owch. I can also get the blank plates, but with the way these are made, I'm not for sure if I can reproduce them, or at least to point where they would be usable. Anybody have any idea where I might find a set of used ones somewhere? Or any other sugestions? Thanks. Casey

C. C., I may be mistaken on this, but didn't there used to be an adaptor to put John Deere plates in a Ford planter? These plates would be much more common. Again, I may be wrong, because it has been several years since I planted with plates. May be something to check on, however. Hope this helps. Mike

CC; Plates for sorghum must be custom made, for the sorghum plates you buy ready made are for grain sorghum. UK has details contact the county agent .

Try Lincoln Ag products. They have plastic plates for corn and sorghum
for about 9 bucks a plate
