I need some help with my "new" baler. The plunger won"t cycle all the way. It binds in the back where the slides are full of crude. I need to take out the slide. Do I have to pull the plunger out to take off the slides to clean them out?

no idea how your baler is set up in the front but i just went through this with my massey 12 baler. pulled the plunger and all...if its in the front i was able to get a grinder with a corse grit sand disc on it and ground the rails down to bare metal, then i just greased the hell outta it and let it run on the tractor for about 15 mins...good as new. try not to pull the plunger just yet see what you can do with it still in there.

Are you sure it is not the needle block that is stopping the plunger? If not adjusted properly this may be in the "stop" position to protect the needles from getting broken. Something to check before trying to get to the inside & clean it.
