Ok since someone asked earlier how many square bales per bale of twine----I would like to know how many bales aprox I can get out of a bale of twine in NH855, bales are 5.5X5.5 and I have the bale command set up and it is currently set at the factory default settings for the number of wraps. Just trying to do some planninf on how many rolls to buy, Thanks

That would depend entirely on how heavy you put the twine on. I make 4x4 bales and use the 20000 foot poly. I get upwards of 100 bales from one ball of twine. If I want to lay it on heavy I'll get 50 from the same ball.... I think on the 5-1/2' bales you'll be closer the 50 mark and down anyway...

Do not know about the New Holland, but on my Vermeer making a 5.5 X 5 bale and tying pretty heavy I get about 35 rolls out of a Box( 2 rolls).
If I use less string I get around 40 to 45 per box.
