I figure about 450 bales including a few missed bales. Usually comes in pretty close. Very hard to not break or miss a few bales especially with the poor quality twine today. And I always miss a few when the knot comes through on a new roll.

We use to get 450.

Don't handle those little ones anymore.

2 14" emds + 2 42" tops = 42+42+14+14 = 112
plus a couple of inches for the knot/little piece = 114 inches per bale
114 * strings/bale - 228inches/bale
so 9000'*12inch/foot/228inches/bale = 474 bales

plus all the ones that break
