I purchased a set of decals from K&K for my 5 mower. They are of nice quality but lacking good instructions. I have an old style one piece pto guard and was wondering if the JOHN DEERE decal was suppose to be on it or if it was only on the two piece slideing type? Also, there is a green safety decal in the kit. Where would that go? I have looked all weekend for the answers but have come up short. Not too many good pictures out there of originals. Thanks for the help guys....
Mark

I think the safty decal goes on the pto shield. I have seen one on a NOS telescoping shield for No. 5 mower.

Very nice looking tractor and mower.

I know that you have put in alot of time and hard work on both.

The 'John Deere' decal that came from K&K goes on the left side of the mower frame.

There is a 'Safety First' decal goes on the left side of the larger half of the telescoping guard.

I did not get one of those 'Safety First' decals from K&K.

I will try to remember to check my older #5 manuals this weekend to see about a decal on the older style PTO guards.

Send me an email and I will respond this time next week.
