Pull radio out of ford PU

I have A 1994 F 250 Ford PU. Can anyone tell me how to pull the radio out of the dash?
Will it come out front, or come out under the dash.It is not A XLT just reg. cab, with A/C
When I got the PU it would play, now will not. The clock will not light up.
Any info. will help.

Bend a wire coat hanger in two (make two of them) so the ends line up with the holes Push them in and radio should pop out.

I see the 4 little holes. I was wondering if they had something to do with pulling it out. Now I will give it A try. I knew it must be an easy way. Thanks A lot

Take 4 nails and stick one in each of those 4 little holes, then push them all at the same time. Then with your 3rd hand pull on the radio and it should pop right out,(key word should), then there will be a plug on the back for the wires.

Take it to a dealer and they have a special tool that inserts into the two little holes on each side if I remember correct. I had a 95 and I spent a day scratching my head, then they took it out in 2 minutes from the front.

Four nails ought to work. The "special" tools are in the auto radio department at wally world. Cost about $1.98 a set.

About that radio, I made me A tool to punch in the four holes. It took me A little while, but I got it out. I have fire going in it, but it will not play. Clock does not display.I may call the wrecking yard to see about what they charge for one.
