I have a IH 56 planter .Can someone Tell me what the different sprocket settings on the seed feeder shaft do?I would like to plant some corn soon and i would like to make sure it is set up right. Also I would be willing to pay for the manual or a replica of one.

I still have my original planter book for my 56 planter. If you will send me your address I will e-mail you the planter setting pages. Is the corn settings all that you need?

Just happen to be browsing the forum and saw your reply to ratskinner about emailing the seeding charts/planter settings. Was wondering if I could possibly take you up on the offer as well? Or if you know of a place to download the charts, that would help too. The mice got ahold of the seed and plate charts in the manual I have. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Did you ever find an owners manual for this? I have 2 that I am making into 1 functional planter and would love to have a copy of the manual.

I just got my planter book out. The book I have is for a IH 58 planter. I'm not sure if the sprocket settings are the same for a 56 or not. Can anyone else help.
