Can anyone help me identify this trip plow? We need a new tip (lay) for one of the blades.

So I believe that you all may be correct. On the beam is stamped IH co P&O P012778, the lay has #462 and the bigger blade thingy (I haven't learned that name yet) is a #662 H O. Is any of this adding up? And where do I find a replacement lay?

I can not see a picture to tell what you have. BUT I can tell you what you have to do and that is to determine the correct name for what you are talking about, Are you talking about a share, and a point, some are made seperate, others all one piece at least that is what I think you are asking about. There are NO parts called by any of your names from any machinery maker. The only thing called a blade would be a coulter disc (blade) and I do not think that is what you are asking about and NO parts man around here would know what you are talking about.

Wow chill out Leroy, spend many years KNOWING that the two wear parts of a plow were the moldboard and the lay, didn't real start calling them shares until they were throw aways( not rebuildable)
