Friend let me borrow a jd haybine for a bit, was looking to get a manual for it. However, there is not model number marked on the body. The jd id tag has the model number blank as well. It is a sickle type conditioner with rollers. The back chute does not appear to be adjustable. Any help appreciated!

Thanks!

Another question -
Was cutting today and pulled off the small gear that is attatched to the top roller on the non gearbox side. The gear goes to a chain which goes to a large gear. The large gear is attatched to a pulley which then belts to rotate the flail / teeth / feed cylinder.

The guy I borrowed it from mentioned he had "fixed this" before.

The small gear is bolted with two bolts to the end of the shaft of the top roller. Looks to be a fix it job, diferent size holes. However the end of the shaft is not lined up with the large gear, it is a good 1 1/4"
offset to the inside. Almost looks like the shaft has slid to the other side of the cutter.

Tried to hammer the shaft back to get it to move enough for the gears to line up, but wouldn't move.

Anyone know how the small gear originally attatched? Is there a spacer or something that is missing? Or should the end of the shaft be far enough into the compartment that it lines up straight?

Kind of hard to tell with no picture. Could be a 483.
