Pull Type Swather Brand/Model Advice

I'd kinda' like to pick up an old 9' or less pull type swather to pull behind my late model DC CASE. In the neighborhood I see a guy has an abandoned Hesston. I do not know the model number or anything. It is just a standard, non-hydro-swing 9' machine. We had a hydro-swing 9' Hesston years back which worked slick when it was in one piece, but the wobble pitmon mechanism sure like to self distruct unpredictably. New pitmon parts were expensive. That said, was there a particular basic pull type Hesston model that was better than the others?

I'm prepared to make any necessary repairs to whatever "fencerow" machine I may find, but is there a certain brand or model you would recommend....Or stay FAR away from? Does one type utilize more generic (less expensive) parts, etc.? Simpler is always better in my book.

Can't help you much, it's been a long time since I had a Hesston. Oldest model PT 10 cut 8 feet, stay away from it, it dosen't float on rough ground. Later model but still old PT 10 cut 9 feet, floated ok on rough ground, would cut anything standing. Then I THINK there was a 1090 which was a still better machine.

All the Hesston equipment I had was well built. Nothing flimsy.
