O.K. I have aquired one of these 12 foot chain flex harrows. It will grade at 90 degree one way and pull from otherside it is alot less aggressive. The guy that has let me use this wants $300 for it. Says to drag it across alf or grass field and it helps thicken it. Or spread accross horse pasture and breaks up the poo. So...how has you alls experience been with this.
Its real heavy and is prob. 8 foot by 12 foot

after you have it for a while you'll figure out a way to put a lift pole on the three point hitch to pick it up to move it around with. just dragging it acroos grass want help make it grow or make it thicker. it will spread poo, but thats about all its good for. i have pulled them behind a disk, but after while moving them around just isn't worth the effort when you can make a drag to go behind a disk that picks up when the disk does.

If its in good shape and not wore out, $300 is a pretty good price

A new 12' is close to 1500
