I have a Little Genius 3-14 plow that is missing the very top part of the tail wheel assembly, and am wondering if it is the same as on the 2-14 plow? I do not have a parts book,so it is just guessing on my part. I would really appreciate it if some one could help with the correct info or a schematic of the plow! Thanks in advance, Bob

Like I said in the other post, nobody around here knows what a lay is as that is a name that no plow maker ever used. If you are talking about a share then the type of bottom has to be determined along with the width of the cut of each bottom and then with that information you can find a dealer to buy new as the shares wear out fast and sometimes are replaced 2 or 3 times a year and always in sets, one for each bottom. at the same time. You never just replace 1 on a 2 bottom or a 3 bottom plow.

Leroy,

Actually, you are incorrect on the terminology. I learned the name of the part from various websites that documented the history of the equipment, just not where to get any parts. Thanks though, appreciate your hostility. I"ll find my part else where.

If you would find and look at a hundred owners and parts panuals for a hundred different model plows you would find out I am telling you the truth no mater how much it hurts you to believe you may be wrong, there are other posters on here that have refered to parts as lays and if they have ever looked at that manual they would find out they are wrong. If you do not want to believe the truth then it is your right. But do not expect us to help you if you will not accept the truth.

Yes , they are the same parts . I have three #8's and all are different sizes but everything is the same except the beam spacers , axles and the bottoms . There might be some other differences but I haven't found them yet . ...Randy

I know if its a #8 it should be the same part. If its another model, I would still have to guess that it is the same part. Go to www.redpowermagazine.com and search the message board for info on those plows.
