Width of an Oliver Superior #26

I need to know the overall width outside of rim to outside of rim for an Oliver Superior #26, to know if it will fit sideways on my 10 ft. long trailer. Thanks.

I do not know about Oliver drills but my IHC books say they made the MF drill in sizes of 9 x 7", 10 x 7", 11 x 7", 12 x 7", 13, x 7", 16 x 7", 8 x 8", 10 x 8", 12 x 8", 16 x 8" and while it does not give total width the drilling width of a 10 x 7 is 5' 10" to 9" 8" for a 16 x 8 with 15" to outside of tire to opener center on each side. mine is a 13 x 7 so 13 x 7 = 91", book says 7'7" and ad 2 feet on each side would make it 9"7" with skinnerier tires than I have so it would have to be a verry small size to fit on a 10' trailer

It fit! I counted, but can't remember now if it was an 11 or 13 hole. It was about 9 feet to the outside of each wheel, steel wheels by the way. Those things are heavier than they look!

Anything smaller than an 11 X 7" would have been narrower than that tractor and that tractor had enough power to pull the biggest IHC model M drill at 24 x 7" = 168" or 14'. These drills were made at the same time as the Oliver.

Sorry don't have all the details. From my recollection, it seems to be about 10 feet wide, give or take a bit. It was used with an Allis WC, so I don't think it's that huge. I just need to know if I can load it sideways on my 10 foot long trailer.

If you give the number of openers and the spacing of the openers then you might get an answer. If it is a 10-7 drill it will be a lot different in width than if it is a 17-7 drill that would be 3 1/2' difference.
