i just purchased a 310 nh baler while looking it over i noticed one of the tines that carry the hay across to the plunger is missing would the previous owner took it out to make it bale a more square bale or mostly just fell out on its own. thanks RICK

That's pretty common. My dad's 310 does that and so does our one family friend whom also has a 310. Just make sure they're tight and keep going.

I doubt he took one off, but if so, you may want to replace it and then adjust them accordingly to make a nice even feed into the bale chamber. How many sets of forks are on it?
