I need 4" rockshaft supports for a large Graham chisel plow. Do you know where I can find the parts?

There are a lot of those old Hoeme chisels sold on farm auctions around here, and usually go for junk prices. Just saw one sell yesterday. I'm not sure what piece you are looking for, but if I knew, I could try to get one (or more) off the "junkies" who buy up most of the old chisels. What size are you referring to as "large"? Most around here vary from 8' to 16' in width.

This plow was originally 29 shanks, hydraulic fold. It has a 4" rockshaft which makes the supports or clamps a lot larger than the 14' or 16' pull type plows I have seen. I have tried two machine shops trying to get the parts manufactured but no luck. I have planted two crops around this plow as it is broken in the field. Sure do hate to cut it up for scrap because I need it running.

"Graham-Hoeme plows were manufactured in Amarillo for more than 50 years before being sold to W&A Manufacturing Co. of Pine Bluff, Ark., in 1989.

Bob Atkinson, president of W&A Manufacturing, who was in Amarillo for the celebration, said his company is still selling parts for the plow, some of them 50 years old or more."

Thanks, that jogged my memory that I had contacted W&A a couple of years ago about these parts and all they had was shanks and springs and other parts for mounted plows. I will try them again to see if they might have expanded their supply. I only live about an hour from W&A.
