I might be looking at a NH 1034 bale wagon this weekend. I currently have a model 1010 and would like to upgrade.

My question is about the single bale unload feature that the 1034 has. Is it like the 1010 where you have to put a brace under the 2nd table? If so, what does the brace look like and where is it normally stored?

When I bought the 1010 a few years ago, it didn't have the 2nd table brace and I ended up making one. I would like to try and avoid that mistake again if I can.

Thanks for your help,

Josh in WNY

On my 1034 the second is held in place with the hydraulic system. You lift the table and move the control lever to the hold position.
Hope this helps , Wayne.

Thanks Wayne. That is just what I neede to know. How do you like you 1034? Are there any week spots I should look for?

I'm going to check with them to see if it has been checked out in there shop (especially the hydraulic pump). They said it was traided in because the owner was switching to using an accumulator and that the wagon was used last year.

Thanks again,

Josh in WNY

Yes check the hyd. pump. I had the dealer work the wagon before I bought it but it had no load so in worked fine, but when it had a load the only way it would work was to run the tractor at full throttle and then it worked very slowly. I don't know how to test without a load good luck. After a new pump it works fine. For me it was quite a learning curve I had never ran one before.
