Yetter bought out the rights to the Flex 71 and is reproducing a clone of them under their trade name.
It is my understanding that all parts are interchangeable.

If the JD Flex 71s are selling for those prices, what is the price for the new Yetter 71 series unit?

I purchased a toolbar and 6 rows of Flex 71s in the 1970s and paid $100 per row unit plus the toolbar. It came with double disc openers and runners as well for choice of use.

I have a two row 3pt set up last year about this time and couldn't sell them around here in Central IL. They sat around through spring for sale and never moved, ended up trading it for some parts for my MM tractors in KS. I was asking 500-750 for them. Less towards the end of spring. Everyone wanted to borrow it not buy it.

You'll find that 71's vary wildly in selling price. A couple of years ago I bought some decent ones for $35 each at a used equipment yard. On the other hand, they routinely go for ten times this on eBay, especially in the spring.

Depends on condition. runner openers are just a little less desirable than disc openers, but not so much as to really hurt their value. Just the units themselves are worth anywhere from $200 to $500 per row (depending on who's looking for them at the time) On a 2-row hitch, not UNcommon to see them bring $1000 this time of the year.

The picture is #70's. I wish I had a dozen to sell @ $1000!

I have seen a few around for $500 - $1000 depending on the condition from some local dealers.
