I just bought a JD corn binder PTO type and was wondering what the model # might be. It has rubber tires and the spoked wheels like on a 44 plow, its a one row, no bundle carrier and has a metal hitch. below is a link to the implement photos of one just like it. it looks to be in good shape, the guy said it worked good 8 years ago when he backed it into the barn, i gave $250 for it, i think that was a good buy.

They are shown in the 1945 Pocket Ledger but not the 1946.

Mine is pto driven and has steel wheels. I use it to cut sorghum for syrup. It is a 1934 year model.

Your manual would have been printed in April of 1948
