I'd like this rig to stay in this position when i'm dragging it with the fourwheeler or truck. I dont have them on in the pic but i had 3/4" roundbar bolted to the chains where the silver and rusty chains link together and another bar bolted to the chains where the silver chain is linked to the drag. The bars are used to keep the rig spread apart. Problem is when i pull on this drag it kinda rolls over on top of the chains kinda. I would like it to stay in the position its in now when i'm dragging it.
Any ideas?

I'm guessing that the reason the 'drag' tends to tip forward is because the ends tend to dig into the ground. If you turned the 'drag' the other direction (chains on opposite side), and kept the same configuration, you wouldn't have that problem. Just my guess- - -

added a bar across the front and tie the bar and the chain together with 1 foot long pieces of chain. this should keep it from rolling over, yet leave it flexible enough to drag down the high spots into low ones.

Run your chains through a piece of pipe. I can see by your picture that your chains are all different lengths. Make them the same length. Make the two that go out to the end the same length & the two in the center the same length & it will pull straight & your rear dozer chain will then not roll under. Even being off by one or two lengths on your chain will cause a problem. Gerald in the Yukon

Sell the dozer rails for today"s high scrap price, buy a chunk of railroad track...reuse the chains.

Weld the links together in that shape, and weld a bar across the front!

Old silo unloader chain? Use a pipe or other type of bar or beam out front to hook the chains to like a harrow hitch. Maybe well some of the loader links together too?

I wonder if you could put some wheels out in front like the deck wheels on a lawn mower to keep it from tipping up on the chains. Maybe 4 of them. Then hook your pull chains to the wheels.
