Get your measurements on the seals and call these guys. They will have them.

Cylinders are put together in many different ways.

If you can show me a picture I can help out.

I have rebuilt about every style you can imagine.

The end that the ram comes out (head gland) comes apart someway. Some are threaded some have snap rings.

You can do it, just watch how you take it apart and put it back together the opposite way.

The seals on the piston are held on in different ways also but they all come apart.

Some that I have rebuilt were welded together. Cut them open replace all the seals and weld it back together.

gary,

thanks, the ones on my lift have a snap ring, then you can see a pressed in ring containing a plastic ring..... the guy gave me some lift parts, looks like from a prior rebuild. looks like the seal from above, then a bullet shaped piece of alum with o rings on the outside and inside, then a bunch of other o rings in a bag, and a couple of rubber cups.

i will try to post pics.

the other cylinder is leaking from around the fitting going into the cylinder.. but i figure as long as i am getting parts to fix one, should do both of them!!!!!

thanks again for the help
