We just bought a Massey Harris 1-row pull-type corn picker. However, I cannot find a model number on it and I can't find any information anywhere on this thing. Had one guy tell us it doesn't exist. I disagree since it is sitting in my yard

Any information would be appreciated.

As an aside, did you see in Successful Farming mag. recently there was a 2 row pull New Idea picker that sold at an auction for $5000. Sounds like they're back in demand?

Link

They may not exist, but you can buy a manual for it on ebay.

I have seen these in MH advertisements from the 50's. I'll try to find some information in one of my tractor field books from that time period, and get back to you.
