I have 2 photos of my Badger Snowmaster 725 in 'Implements photos'. I got the thing years ago for 200$. I have the manual, have it all lubed, greased, angled right, and sandblasted/primed the chute. But it will not throw snow. Plugs immediately. I feel so dumb, because I have the perfect hp range, using 64hp, range calls for 35 to 75, and its been used before, there is signs of wear, dents etc. But I cant make it work, tried every snow type. There is nothing to it mechanically, but if there are any other owners of this single stage thrower, what can you advise.

I have a Badger with only one spout. I just got it this year and mounted it on a WD Allis that is turned around backwards. I also have a Arps on a regular WD and the both blow snow very good unless the snow as others have stated is wet.

This year we had little if any frost so maybe with all the gravel and dirt that I mixed with the snow made them work better. You should see the lawn.

I have several walk behinds nine if I'm thinking right, (don't ask as I have no idea why either) also one for a skid loader, and two for garden tractors and none except the little snow thrower work good in real wet snow. That one just spanks it without a blower type units. A wet snow and very cold temperatures the next day make it almost imposible as the wet snow freezes in the chute. About the only thing that comes to mind is if you do not feed it kinda fast they can plug, and being you have two chutes maybe that is a factor.

The Badger is a tough one to unplug for some reason, and my intention is to redo a ice auger to twist into the chute and pull the snow out once it is plugged. Other than that I see no reason why yours does not work. Never take a snow blower from a warm building unless you let it freeze up for a half hr or so as it may cause some real problems plugging. You got a good buy in my opinion. With a fluffy snow you should be able to blow 12 inches as fast as low reverse will go without clutching.

Are you running full pto rpms.

Those things have to be singing at 540 rpm to work right.

This is the same basic blower with 2 throwers instead of 1. But 1 should still work with the rpms up.

Only time I would plug mine is in wet snow at low rpms if I forgot to rev her up when I started.

Lowest reverse gear you have and high rpms.

Here is a couple more pictures. As you can see it is the same design and it worked good for me but the capacity is not as much as a 2 stage.

i dont know guys. Your close up looks exactly like mine. I am running bang on 540 RPM, but I am going kind of slow as I enter the snow. Maybe too slow. I have your 2 stack model in my operators manual, they are are very similar. But it just is not a working unit! Its over for snow season again, so will think it over and try again next year.

When you say slow when you enter the snow do you mean ground speed or RPMs?
