21' Kewanee disk, all of a sudden this spring the right wing (as looking at it from behind it) does not want to unfold. At first, with cold Hydraulic, it will slowly start to come up, the warmer the fluid gets, the less it wants to go until finally it won't move. What do you think? Think an o-ring job will solve it? Not leaking any fluid, I would think if the seals were leaking, the fluid would leak into the case and it would finally build enough pressure to leak or operate, one of the two. Swapped remotes on the tractor, no change, swapped tractors, no change. Fluid doesn't seem to be bleeding back to the system either, so something is going on at the cylinder.

You already figured out the problem- it is at the cylinder! Leak is internal- could be a bad seal/o-ring. Worst case would be the aluminum/steel boss that holds the o-rings (oldtimers disease kicking in). Sometimes they get chipped out, so 0-rings do not seat.

since you changed cylinders and had the same results.

I believe you have a problem with the hyd hoses to that side of disc. could be a internal collapsed hose

If you change hoses and still have the problem you may have sprung the frame and the wing hinge is binding.

Has to be one or the other, not much else left.

good luck and be safe.

He switched remotes, not cylinders.
