Hi to Tim (and anyone else),

I found an old post by you looking for springs for your Dearborn 9-shank tiller. I have one of those, and need a few springs and shank. Did you ever find out where to find these parts? If you got them from Agco (or somewhere else), can you give me part numbers?

I just checked on the springs at my local new holland dealership a few weeks ago - the replacement springs were about $36.00. I checked with Kraft Implement a year or so ago and they quoted me around 48 dollars for the whole assembly (stem, clamps, springs, and shovel), but they didn't break it down further than that. I might be ordering some parts from them shortly.

I did check at my local TSC - there's a KK cultivator that looks like the springs would work. Their replacement springs were actually a few cents more than New Hollands, and I'm not certain that they would work.

By the way - at some point Ford (or Dearborn, or whoever they were at the time) began using one spring instead of two.

If you go to the New Holland website and go to the parts page, put "cultivator" in the search box and you can pull up the parts diagrams, complete with part numbers.

Blair--if you own the Dearborn Model 13-2 Spring Shank cultivator, you can obtain very good quality parts made by Fred Cain Farm Equip. Co.

They fit not only the Fred Cain Cultivator, but the Dearborn and Ferguson Spring Shank Cultivators. Good quality parts.

My dealer in WI is Kraft Implement Co. in Columbus, WI.
