I just purchased a Ferguson 2 bottom plow. The nameplate says Ferguson and 34183 Type 14A. On the moldboard it says 14A A0110. Any idea of the year or value? It has all the parts and is in good shape with all coulters and tail wheel turning freely. Minimal rust.

I just plowed about 3 acres with a set of 12's identical to those today, they worked great. I always thought they where Dearborn plows, as my ID plate is missing. Does anyone know the original color of these plows?

I have a set of Ferguson 3-12's also, but there numbers are more like 12A0 or something like that, plus they are built different.

looks like a 2-14" Ferguson plow.

I have a set that looks just like it, except mine has a thrid plow. It is a 3-12" plow set up and does great work. My plows came with a 1957 TO-35 Ferguson tractor that we still have.

I would say these plows were for a TO-30 Ferguson tractor and they were built through 1954 I believe.

However, many people ordered 2-14" or 2-16" plows with their TO-35 as they were eaiser to pull in heavy soils.

The year is someware between 1939 and 1957 but the type of share says it is more likely before 1955
