Would anyone have some printed info on this model plow. Brochure or operators manual, parts list etc? Floyd county Iowa archives had some that I got, but need more. Anyone out their using one? If so, your experiences, good, bad, what? Thanks

I have had one of these horse drawn plows for about 15 years. Put a set of coulters on it after I got it. The plow has worked very well for me. I usually use two horses on it to plow corn stubble or grain stubble. Can shift the tonque over and set it up for three horses if the plowing is tougher. Never used three horses on it yet--maybe this year. Only problem I can remember is having to nudge the sliding link on the front end of the plow beams over once and a while after completing one furrow and starting the next one. I prefer to use this plow over a similar John Deere two-way riding plow I also have.

I've seen a Vulcan 2 way,but not an Oliver. Check with [email protected] and see if she has any info on them.

Thanks for your replies about the oliver plow.I have a problem with the plow lifting out of the ground. In fact it won't lift at all. This is a 14" plow and the beams set together almost touching at the landslides. IT was this way when I bought it.Don't think this is the total reason for it not lifting, but the way I measured from share to wheel it will be cutting to much land. Rachets in levers seem to be worn and somewhat rounded but catch in wheel sprocket when pulled forward. You guys got any other ideas or suggestions? Thanks
