Good choice for a project! I picked one of those up at the October Colorado Draft Horse and Equipment Auction. It's an OLDIE..... model 1A with a patent date of 1925. It was in pretty good shape to begin with but I spent some hours on it and took a couple of parts down to the old boys at a weld shop. They had a ball when they learned what the parts were from and that I didn't plan to park it in the yard for a lawn ornament! Picked up a new tongue at the auction and had the rig behind a team of Percherons after the first big snow clearing the ranch roads here in the south-central Colorado Rocky Mountains.
I'd be interested to know what you got and what you need to know. Will gladly help if I can.
