We just sold 2 brand new 5400 Rebels taken from a dealer close-out for less than $14,000. We have both a 504L and a 5400 on the lot now and they are nice balers. Those balers are priced many thousands less than the $14,000 you stated.

I think I would take the 504L over the 5400. I own a 5400, it's a good baler but it is their economy model. 14000 sounds way high for either baler to me. Around that price I would bite the bullet and get a new one instead. Net wrap is a high option though, if the 504L hasn't been abused it sounds like the better deal.

thank you for the reply. I thought the prices were high also that's probably why they will be auctioned off. I too was thinking the 504l was the better baler even though its 5 years older according to the dealer. we'll see what they bring
