Guys I am looking at buying an Oliver Plantaire corn planter. What can you tell me about the good and the bad of these planters? Also how much are the blowers and are they even available? Thanks, Frank

If it a green 5400 it is the first year model. They were only green the first year. Is this a 4,6 or 8 row? Are you thinking No TILL? The late White Planters are excellant planters! What attachments are on the planter? Where are you located. If a 6 or 8 row which monitor and alternator are with it?

It is green so I knew it was a very late oliver. It's 6 row runs off the tractor alternator. Don't think it'll be a problem as I have a 100 amp alt. It has dry fertlizer depth wheels and a small wheel behind the seed unit I believe for firming. J we aren't to far from you as it is located in Wauseon Ohio. I'm not sure of the monitor as it was still on the tractor that used to plant with(706 IH). Frank
