Can anyone direct me as to where one may find a saw blade attachment(or even if one was ever made) that will hook up to the pto of a tractor. I'd like to cut my own lumber if such a thing is made....Thanks in advance

There used to be lots of them in the OLD days (before liability lawsuits)...

Most that I've seen ran off the flat belt drives from the side of the tractor.

I've got what's left of one (rusted) that was used on our farm for cutting firewood...
But I don't know if I've ever seen one designed for milling logs.

You might be just as well off looking for a used portable sawmill (Mighty-mite) etc.. or finding someone who has one and would mill lumber for shares... (common practice around here)

I have never seen a saw blade implement like you describe. I don't think it would be such a good idea Hear in South Alabama I see lots of small sawmills that can be bought for a low price. I think that would be you best bet.
