I was thinking about original color's on the older JD Implement's???
So,,,, If the Johnny Popper's are that dark green?
Wouldnt the implement's of the period be that same Dark Green???
I sure hope so,,,
As ive seen alot of the lemon lime color on the older plow's and planters, And I think it would be,and look alot better in the dark green of the 30's and the 20's too,

My brother in law has a 1936 model A that was bought new with the JD cultivator and the cultivator is red. That's all I know about it.

to learn the true color of any piece, most of the time you can disasseble a piece where two pieces of metal cross each other and see the color down in there. as far as i know all jd's through the new generation tractors was painted with jd classic paint. most of the wood pieces and the feet on early cultivators were painted ih red.

The older tractor equipment was green with yellow wheels, BUT if it was wood, alot of times it would be red. Go figure. Wood tongues, single doubletrees, ect
