Ive got this old JD Lister planter ,,,
Two row with center frame and lift up row disc markers on the sides halfway back,
Its on steel wheel's too, and I was looking for one in here but to no avail, I think this one is from the late 20's,
Early 30's,
as all ther ones ive seen have the green JD decal on the seen cans and have tires on them or at least rubber on the inverted tread wheel's behind the seed can's, & the coulters,
this one is steel all around and has the long axle on the right side to adjust, or slide the furrow wheel in and out where you want it,
also It has the drive chain on the left side to drive the gear going to the back for the seed drop ring's under the seed can's and the top's are stamped with the John Deere, Moline Ill name on them,
I bought this planter for about 35,00 from an antique dealer near me,
If anyone has pics like this one or knows whar date its around??
Get back to me on this ok,

In the John Deere Plow Works Repair Catalog,Dated January 1st,1942 it appears to be a No.1C Power Lift Lister Gang-14" bottoms. Adjustable to 38-,40-, and 42 inch. Discontinued in 1936. The book doesn't show your markers on the lister. It shows markers were available, and there is a parts breakdown. Perhaps you could get some #'s off the castings from around the disk or marker area. Markers on Listers were an option at the time the Lister was new. I have a tractor mounted Lister, it doesn't have markers.Although they were available for it also. Hope this helps.

It would help us if you would post a picture. Until then it would only be speculation as to what you have.
