The original subject was "Variation on Little Genius color".

Hi Tony,
Ive got the same problem???
Ive got a steel wheeled 3-16 Little genius that has mostly the IHC aqua colored blue all over the top frames,
one frame has a little line of the red Underneath it, but mostly all the frames are that IHC blue,
I was wondering about the same thing as you, in that IHC records were saying that the # 8 plow's were supposedly all red,
But like you,,, I beg to differ,??
also,,,I just went to where the thing is sitting and i took some mothers wheel polish and went over the moldboard blade's, and they still had alot of the plating on them from yrs past,
so,,, I know they were plated in Chrome, or nickel, not sure which, and not painted silver like alot of them ive seen,
The wheel's on this thing are a straw yellow color, alot of it worn off from the weather, & theres the holes where the traction cleats are supposed to be,(But missing) on top of the wide,(about 7 inch's
across), Left wheel where the lift clutch is on the inside, but clearly ,, there's enough of it too plainly see that they are a straw yellow color and not cream,
So,,,, Like you,, Im kinda stymied too as to what this plow actually would look like,???
Tony,,, Please get back to me when you can Ok,,,
Ill wait for you for some more of this stuff on these IHC # 8 Plow's,
Kitk,
