Go easy on the Man. Around here if you called a rotery cutter anything but a brush Hog only 1 out of 100 would know what you were talking about or would think that you were a city sliker trying to be a farmer . If it cuts brush they call it a brush Hog reguardless of the name that is on tag.

I think what "other Will" is saying is that "Bush Hog" is a brand name - just like "Case". What that implement is called is a "rotary cutter", but alas, is most commonly called a "bush hog" or brush hog. To be honest - I've never heard of any rotary cutter being rare. Many were mass produced and then painted a certain color and a brand name placed on them - just like many lawnmowers - or cans of green beans. I can't help with the year or color.

If it is a Case it can't be a Bush Hog. Bush Hog is a different company that makes mowers, loaders, discs, etc.
