I have a Ferguson subsoiler my grandfather bought new back in the early fifties. Has a spring-loaded rolling coulter and a heavy, hook-shaped shank. I can barely read the tag, I think it says model D-BE-28. It needs a new point, and was wanting to know if anybody has adapted a point from another brand to one of these? Only one bolt holds it on, as the original has ribs on it to keep it from rotating on the shank.

We have rebuilt ripper shanks an points for years& anyone with a welder can .new ones can be modfied to fit but would have to see what it look's like ie.how wide is the shank, where is the hole, how long an so forth.Last resort use a section of truck spring and unless you would do large acreage it will last you a lifetime. good luck if you have trouble call cell #314-313-9948 Wildman
