Sorry guys I thought the previous owner had said the axle bearing was out. I guess its a bushing. Why would I need to replace the axle if the bushing is worn. It is just one on the right side.

I'm not familiar with your rake.
But on bushings in general they often wear out larger than their diameter so the shaft wears into the cast or steel that surrounds the bushing.
That eats up the shaft too and makes replacing bushings pointless.
The other posters were merely giving you a heads up for what might likely be an axle replacement too.
If I read their posts correctly it is a straight shaft from one side to the other and a piece of cold rolled from your local steel yard/machine shop is cheaper than one from NH.
Good luck

I asked once & thought the 55 didn't even have bushings to replace. One of mine is starting to wobbly.

the 55 has bushings. They drive out less than 15.00 dollars each it takes 4. A new axle from CNH. is 258.00 machine shop will make one for 80.00
