A friend had broken the drive sprocket on the pickup on his baler. It had been brazed by the last owner, but there was a piece lost this time, so it can't be put back together. The # on the sprocket is 152672M2. Does anyone have or know of a baler that's being parted? I've been calling around, but have only found a pricey new one.

If you don't care about originality, you may be able to replace it with a universal weld-hub and sprocket. If the chain is "double-pitch" you can replace a "double-pitch" sprocket with a common "single-pitch" sprocket.

My neighbor and I did that on this NI spreader after the sprocket finally gave way when I started to unload my second load of the day. :-(

Check around - I think it was ~$45 for the hub and sprocket, + 10 minutes to weld the two together.
