I know of a massey small square baler that might be for sale. The guy says it is his dads and he is not real sure of the number on it. I think its a 124. He said there is a piece broken on the notter. it's a little aluminum disk with three prongs that grabs the twine. 2 of the prongs are broke off of it. Do you guys know what it is and if you can still buy that part? Also anything else to look at on these things? thanks for all the help.

Sounds like the twine disk. However on most knotters its a stack of plates w/ a small space between them that the twine holder 'fingers' slip into. As the name implies its used to hold the twine end between ties. Seems they should still be available from the MF dealer. I dont know that for sure though. An alternative perhaps is Parts Country at your JD dealer.
