Looking for a dry fertilizer attachment for 6RN JD 7000, in MN or close by in adjacent states. Very little response from multiple classified ads. TIA.

Hey!- Thank you- I"ll certainly check that out. Noticed many posts from you- must be in the S MN tropics! We hit 38 yesterday, today is about the same. Shame that we have to remind the southern states neighbor"s that we mean ABOVE zero! But, we are still behind- normally get 28 days below zero, have had 21 so far. Worst thing is to see the local "authors" complaining about the cold- bet they don"t get out much or work in it. It"s MN.---duh! We enjoy climate change.

Between Litchfield and St.Cloud. Talked to Greg today and checked prices on what he had. Haven"t been to the sale you talk about. We"re a couple weeks behind S MN field work, would like to see another foot or two of snow before the thaw. We have a lot of bare ground now, but it"s been a better winter than recent ones. Close to average for snow and cold. Snow cover on the hay fields was good this year, even tho few hay fields here now- most dairy is gone. Went north or disappeared!

Sort of...? Guy by Pierz has the partial attachment, said he couldn"t remember them having anything., but they are on my list to double check. I figured S MN would have more available, since most have gone to bigger planters and broadcasting. Course, most of the 6row planters moved north!- but they"re more likely to be using them. Pierz guy is switching to liquid. Thanks for the suggestion.

Did you check with Haukos Bros. in Glencoe? I was there 2 years ago and they had stacks of fertilizer attachments there for 7000-7200 planters.

Yes- they think they might have a transmission under the snow someplace, nothing else. That would complete a partial set I found available in central MN. Just still looking. Other available transmission was near Waterloo.
