I have a chance to buy a NH 880 from a friend and was wondering if anyone on here has used one and what size tractor you pulled it with. Any help will be appreciated.

Pulled one with a Ford 6000 and later with JD 4020. I don't remember if about a 6 knife was only option you had on the 880s or not? Later had a 890 with 6 knives and 4020 pulled it but later went to 12 knife on same 890 using a JD 4450 but you didn't know it was behing that one hardly.

Back in the day around here they were found behind IH 706 & 806, Deere 4020's, and next door to me, a Ford 8000. Could hear them howl for miles.
