Just purchased a 303 two-way plow according to our deere dealer. This one only has two left and two right plows. The parts book shows three plows on each side. Can anyone tell me if it is a 303 or was there another number for the two plow? There is no sign of this one ever being a three plow. Thanks for any help. Jimmy D.

The best record I can find shows these plows were made from 1944-1953.

I am not sure about how many were made or sold but the deere dealer I talked with yesterday had a parts manual and picture of the 303. It was on the same design as the 202.

JD never made 303 2way plow, did make 101-101A one bottom 2way, check out JD-form- Re.-john deere 202 plow, page 4 or 5 #257274 for more info.

Now, I've never seen a 303 plow, and I'm not sure the ever made one, but if they didn't make one, why do the sell an operator's manual for a 303 2-way plow? I really don't know, and just assumed they made one when I saw that.

Thanks David, got to clean these and try to get them going. Want to carry them to some local shows this spring, never seen any like these before in our area(Mississippi). Thanks again for your help.

They did make a 303 plow, but they also made a 202 plow. I'm guessing if yours only has two bottoms, then its a 202. I have 2, 202 plows. One trip lift, and one hydraulic lift.

Thanks, mine is a 202 hydraulic lift according to your pictures. Could you tell me what years they were manufactured and if parts are still made for them?

I'm completely guessing on years, but I'm thinking from late 40's up to around 1960. I could be off on that, but that's my guess. I needed a few parts to make mine work, and got a couple from my dealer, but he had to do some work to find them. A couple were discontinued, and I had to go to the salvage yard. If you have a GOOD parts man like me, they probably can locate you some of the parts, but if you have a lazy parts man, they'll probably just tell you they're all discontinued.
