the latest hay and forage grower magazine had an article about a guy who modified a big square baler to pick up small square bales, he ties 2 rows of 6 bales on edge (6 bales on edge on the bottom then 6 more bales on edge for the top (12 bales) togather - then handles as a large square

I am very impressed - not that I have that kind of cash to buy an old big square baler in the first place, but

I am considering making a deal to make a bundle of bales - just wrap some string around them and see if I can haul them around with the loader. sure beats handling all those multiple times....

there is another unit out there Aucruson think was the name it picks them up single and puts 14 into bundle. I like the looks of it. Movie in shop let me know if want more details and number for them . I am looking into one. Want accumulator setup.
