as long as it a square bale some were between 14 or 18 inches and 32 and 40 inches long a NH stachliner will pick it up as long as ins on its side

No wire tie balers anywhere around here, lots of NH bale wagons.

Uniform bales is what's needed.

The manuals state what is exactly needed.

From what I know you just need sharp bale knives, and square/square bales. I know that they have to be a certain length. If some of the hay is inconsistant (because of tractor speeds/windrow thickness) the stacks could tip over from a "limp noodle" towards the bottom.

Even bales make that deal work right. Twine is the Way!

If your talking about the automatic balewagon normal string works just fine. Just need a solid bale, no limp noodles.
