Can anyone tell me what implements where used on the Super M such as plows and discs thank you..

My dad started farming with a Super M, he pulled a 3-14 Case plow and a 11 ft 37 IH wheel disk with it.

Plows and disks would be BEHIND a Super M, not ON it.

There was mounted plows and disks for M's HM-150 disk plow and HMV-1 disk cultivator are a couple.

IH models are McCormick No 8 trailing plow. Others were available too, such as No 16 and later model 60, The disk would likely be a No 9 or 10. But like Hugh said any of the newer wheel controlled disk work fine, and are easier to move on the road from one farm to another.

There was mounted mowers HM-16, semi mount mowers, 25V, 27V, 31 and a few more then& later on.

Many models of front mount cultivators. HM-221, 238,240, 250, 236, 448, and many more. Had front mount planters HM-220, 221, 222, rear mount planters HM-110, 111, 112, 210, 211, 212 and several others. No 42, bean planter, No 47C mounted fertlize units. Many more things for them.

Don't have a link, but google IH archives, click on WHS paint committee decisions, it will show a long list of trailing, mounted and implements. All HM implements will be for H and M tractors.

Tom: Just about any implement it could pull. Super M comes from the heyday of pull type trailer implements, and farmers bought which ever make was the best deal. Probably would have been 3x14 or 16 plow, 8' to 10' disk or cultivator, semi-mounted mowers and just about any make would bolt to the U drawbar.

For example if I take you back to our own farm, plow, mower and cultivator would have been IH, disk and manure spreader would have been Cockshutt or Oliver, they had wheel controlled disks by 56. Baler was New Holland.
