I sold the last of the livestock this afternoon. I still have plenty of equipment left to sell.

If all goes well I can get rid of this equipment before the end of the month. I still have the tractor, haybine, baler and the two bottom plow. We're hoping to have everything goneby Febuary 1st so we can move andput our house on the market.

The road we live on has never seen as much traffic until I started listing the livestock. There's been more cattle trucks and horse trailers on this road. The neighbors I'm sure are just scratching their heads wondering what is going on.

One of the cattle dealers took an intrest on my Massey 1135. He said right now cash was a problem for him. I told him that I would be willing to trade a mid size extended cab truck 4x4 for the thing. Something that I could get into a drive 4000 miles and actually make it there and not spend our house money for gas. He said he would trade his truck for it, but he needed his truck for work.

Well, if your going to go to Alaska, take that Massey with you, get some equipment, and get some land. You can get land there very similar to the old Homesteaders Act. Then you can have ten months of winter and two months of hard sledding. As much sun as there is in the summer, you ought to be able to grow some tremendous crops, and as a plus, there are no state taxes in Alaska. Oil pays the taxes. Hope life gets better from here.

He'll never get the Massey started in Alaska.

How in the world are you going to drive 4000 miles without a float kit? Bound to hit water.

I figured it would have to be Alaska to get anywhere near 4000 miles. Might be a while before it warms up there.

Good Luck!
