Did they stop making these? I think they all were made at the Dept of corrections in Oak Park Heights MN.

I called about these about 2 years ago when they quit mfg. them and sold out. The "board" that ran MinnCor didn't see any value to mfg. agricultural equipment. They used to make sickle mowers, hay rakes, manure spreaders, running gear and gravity boxes to name a few. Between lawsuits and lack of interest they gave up the business.

They were made by Prison Industries at the state prison in Stillwater, back in the day when they could still make prisoners work. Good industrial training. Our binder twine used in the Roto-Baler came from there too. Made wagons, manure spreaders, hay rakes, mowers. I don"t know if they make anything anymore- everything except wagons was stopped years ago. Local welder was a dealer, been awhile since I saw any new wagons there. Used to have a working dairy/crop farm years ago too.

Too bad they don't have all these prisoners doing something constructive instead of watching TV. Hal

You are correct in that they were manufactured by the Minnesota Department of Corrections.

They also made manure spreaders and other implements. The web site doesn't list any of these. I also searched several dealers in MN that I recall carried the Minnesota brand in the past. Appears that parts a still available, but no listing for the actual running gears.
