Gas, with a narrow front would bring between 3000-3800 here depending on tires and sheet metal. Depending on how noticable the knocking is, knock 500-1000 off depending on how noticeable it it. Id speculate that there is a caged bearing in there that has failed. Over the years thats been the main PTO repair that I have had to perform on these tractors.

it sounds like there is a tooth broke off a gear that drives the pto. these gears are located betwen the transmission and the bell housing. the tractor will need to be split to fix them. i have a 3020 gas with a cab, aftermarket wide front and power shift, dual hyd. i am asking 5500 for mine to give you an idea on value. i am in NE iowa.

Possibly a tooth out of a gear or a bad bearing.
