My dad passed away back in the summer and there are several old pieces of equipment lying around in the way that my brother and I need to get rid of. One is a 237 picker that has been under roof in an open fronted shed since it was taken off the tractor after picking corn in about 1976. Some of it has sunk up in the dirt, and it's rusted up some, but it's still green and should all be there. Looking for an idea of what it might be worth. It was first used on an M Farmall, then a 4020.

My recollection (might not be right) is that the 237 was the successor to the 227. I think they were both good pickers. In my immediate area (NW Iowa) neither picker was real common. We had a good neighbor with a 227 that used to "open out" our fields for us, as we had a pull type picker. The 2MH series Internationals were the more common mounted pickers here. I haven't seen one sell at a sale in a long while, but ten years ago or so, some very good mounted pickers went to the scrap man at scrap prices.

Randy, where are you located? I know a guy in Central IL that was looking for a picker like this for a 70 I think.

I am in west Ky., about 40 miles east of Paducah.
